I. INTRODUCTION

Understanding Animation

Animation, which is a quick presentation of an image series, can create the illusion of motion. Photoshop allows you to create animations from images. Create an animated video by changing a few images and altering the time between them. Slices are converted to HTML tables and animations into files when you display an image on a website.

II. Create and play basic animation

Understanding Animation

You can create animations using almost any kind of graphic image. You can overlap or move the objects within your image to blend them together. You can choose how to play the animation once you have placed the images you wish to animate into a file.

Animation Panel

An animation is simply a collection of images that are displayed quickly to create the illusion of movement. Each frame is displayed as a thumbnail in the Animation panel. An animation frame is a single image. You can duplicate the frame you are currently using and then edit it as you wish. Layers that appear on the Layers Panel will be visible in the frame selected and, therefore, the animation. This is all you need to do in order to create a simple animated GIF:

A Place images in layers.

Hide the entire layer except for one.

Duplicate your frame. Turn off the layer that is displayed, then switch on the layer to be seen.

Animations

You can see two images in the Layers panel (see Figure below). Each layer has two frames in the Animation panel. If frame 1 is chosen, then the man will appear in the picture; if frame 2, the woman will appear. The images of a man and a woman will alternate when the animation plays.

Move and Delete Frames

Click the frame in the Animation Panel and drag it. Press and hold [Shift] and click on the frames that you wish to select. Press and hold the [Ctrl] key (Windows) or (Mac), then click on frames to select them. Click the frame on the animation panel and drag it over to the button Deletes selected Frames on the panel.

Looping Animation

The number of loops that the animation will play can be set by selecting the Selects Looping Options list arrow in the Animation Panel, then clicking on Once, Three Times, Forever or Other. Selecting Other opens the Set Loop Count Dialog Box, which allows you to enter your desired loop count.

Animation Preview

You have several options when you are ready to view an animation:

a Use the buttons at the bottom of your Animation Panel. The animation will play when you click on the Play animation button.

In the Save for Web & Devices dialogue box, click the button Preview the optimized Image in a Browser to preview the animation kiss anime.

How to convert animation frames into a timeline

The Animation panel by default displays frames. However, you can switch the display to a timeline. Click the Convert animation to timeline button located in the lower right corner of the Animation panel (Frames). Click the Convert animation to frames button to return to the display of the frame when the timeline appears. The Animation panel (Timeline).
